Matt DeJong is a lighting, video, and show-control systems specialist. He is currently the Head of Lighting, Video & Effects for Princess Cruises, and freelances as a system designer. Matt specializes in installation design, venue commissioning, and control solutions for the permanent, the temporary, the strange, and everything in between. When he's not out on the high seas, Matt can be found making shows happen anywhere that "shouldn't" naturally be a performance space. Before finding his niche in spectacles, permanent installs, and odd performance spaces, he worked in the more traditional realm of Theatre, Opera, and Ballet. He went to university in Philadelphia for Theatrical Design & Technology and, Art History. When not traveling for work, he can be usually found in New York or Las Vegas drinking coffee and packing for the next trip.
